Too much inspiration from the past causes this type of repetitiveness. this is not a trap build, this is your spenders do extra delayed damage build, and unfortunately nothing compares to how fast strafe throws them out.Īgree with you on the redundancy and detonation fundamentals being an issue. Honestly, The real question is why not play any of the other "meta" dh builds, it really does nothing 2 other builds already do(strafe impale and GoD) basically every other DH meta build baring strafe impale. (NOT USING THE CURRENTLY BROKEN AND SOON TO BE FIXED shadow 2set broken interaction) with optimizing and potion proc rng you could probs do 150s with it, I just don't see a world where it's not out performed by. on PTR at 1k paragon, lv 60 legendary gems, a crafted primal+ 1 more primal, and decent ancients(didn't spend too much time gearing on ptr tbh) i'm able to do 140s. It's honestly extremely disappointing for a "trap" build, It literally plays like GoD but move slower, and maybe hits harder? i havent played GoD in a while. TLDR, it might be fun to play around with as a second character/build, but I wouldn't invest super heavily into it.
